Care ™ is an insurance product designed by BLIS and issued by a licensed US insurance company.
BLISCare ™ has been created for select bariatric surgeons who are approved by BLIS Insurance Segregated Portfolio and allows the bariatric surgeon to cap their financial exposure to medical costs that are due to complications. This product allows the BLIS Surgeon to include a commitment to their patient, as part of their surgical fee, to protect the patient from complication related medical expense following their elective procedure. When the BLIS Surgeon authorizes complication related care, BLIS will reimburse the medical providers on a direct basis.
